Foster Grandparent Program Director is needed to direct and oversee the Foster Grandparent Program grant serving six counties. Work involves supervising and training Foster Grandparents and program staff, planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating all phases of the program’s operations including grant administration. Work also includes promotion of the foster grandparent program in the community. Foster Grandparent Director works as a member of an agency-wide collaborative leadership team to foster, access and leverage resources that help to accomplish the agency’s vision and numerous goals and objectives.
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Human Services, Social Work, Gerontology or related field and two years experience in working with senior population. New York State driver’s license and access to a car are required.
